Vilain exploration

Starting some concept for a pirat vilain, i envision a bad guy seeking for meteor landing on earth, which can contain precious metals, gems, rare stones from the cosmos, he could then sell them on the black market and make money out of it. He is a vilain with a hint of dumbness, i'd like people to be able to feel a bit of empathy for him. Expect more to come.
